Savage London Erratic, enigmatic and downright mad as a balloon, K Savage is the brains behind Savage London. Purveyors of fine T-shirts for boys and girls, Savage London have just launched a website, savagelondon.com. Functional in appearance, the site is downright dysfunctional in content. On top of the whole Savage London range a few clicks away, there is a disturbing biography of Savage (which refers to him throughout as`Da Monkey') and many other quirky little insights into the Savage world. On top of this, Mr S has just released a range of T-shirts at are customised versions of prison uniforms, after a fan smuggled him out a load while inside. SM. loaded page 179 |

SUPERNOODLES' VEST SIDE STORY The camp world of the musical is the inspiration behind Mother's new spot for Supernoodles. A West Side Storyesque ad warns viewers of the truth behind cliche "you are what you eat", be it a brown rice munching softie or a Supernoodles scoffing hard man. The action, shot by Harry Nash director Fredrik Bond, begins in a pub, where a healthy guy with a Salad emblazoned T-shirt tries to stop a Supernoodles man from pestering women. In true Sharks and Jets style a full-scale pirouetting scrap ensues, with the healthy eaters thwarted by Supernoodles and his friends Lager, Bacon et al. Police sirens send the gangs scarpering, the Supernoodles men heading for a fence in an alley, that they can't quite climb over. "They're cheeky bastards who don't take life too seriously," says Bond of the Supernoodles men, whose dancing he choreographed himself. A score by Moulin Rouge's Steve Sidwell accentuates the action. |
