To change the SIZE of an image - select a CORNER of the image and drag. There will be NO cutting around your images (ie. if your image has a coloured rectangular background it will stay that way).
If your image in the Gallery appears as a red X, then your browser (Internet Explorer) may be unable to display the thumbnail, or there is something wrong with your jpg. If the jpg is from Photoshop, then "Save For Web..." and upload again. If the image displays OK on your garment then do not worry.
